Installation and Setup of the SecuX V20 Hardware Wallet
Installing the device requires initialization beforehand to ensure you received a new device and not a refurbished option.
Device initialization
There is no pin code on the device when it comes directly from the manufacturer. When you initialize the V20, you will be prompted to add your own private key for security. If you are not prompted to enter a custom key, contact customer support.
Device Set Up and Vault-Grade Security
Charge your device. Do this by connecting the USB cable to the USB connector, then plug into an outlet. It's recommended that you charge the V20 for 2 hours.
After the device is charged, set a personal pin. This pin should be between 4-and 8 digits. You will need this pin every time you use the device. If you fail to log in 5 times, the V20 will reset. In situations like this, you will need to conduct the recovery process with the seed key.
At this point, you can name your device and then create your wallet. As you do this, you can generate a recovery seed phrase of up to 24 letters to create a hidden wallet entryway. This, in addition to the secure element, will provide another layer of protection.
Use this phrase whenever you cannot get into your device or have lost your device. You should store the seed phrase physically on specialized metal plates, and hide them from others. Thus you will literally have a hidden wallet with hidden accounts. This will ensure zero transaction leakage.
Where you Should Not Store Your Seed Phrase
Refrain from storing your recovery information online. Although this may seem like the best place to store your important information, it can be at risk of being stolen by cyber thieves. Also, do not use a zip drive to store your recovery key either, as this device can be accidentally destroyed or lost.
While writing your seed word on paper may seem harmless and easy to do, it's not the best option either. Paper can be thrown away, lost, or destroyed as well. In some cases, these papers will degrade and numbers become illegible. These are the main reasons why storing this important information on aluminum or stainless steel plates provide a more permanent solution.
After setting a recovery phrase the V20 will generate private keys based on these seed phrase words. The private key will be stored within the element of the device. After this has been done, the device will return to its regular operation mode.
Introduction and Bluetooth Functionality
On the device's screen of all hardware wallets, there is the main menu. Within the settings on any of the SecuX wallets, choose the Bluetooth option. Turn on the Bluetooth option to connect with your wifi-enabled computer or mobile device.
Enter the one-time password to pair devices. Now you can browse the other options provided with the SecuX V20 wallet.

The device weighs 4.2 ounces and has dimensions of 0.59 x 3.86 x 3.86 inches. The device is light and small enough to carry in a purse, suitcase, pocket, or other types of carrying cases.
